PRINCESS MARGARET HOME LOTTERY RULES & REGULATIONS

ELIGIBILITY

The following individuals and all of their immediate family members residing in the same household are prohibited from ordering a ticket: Board members and employees of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation; members of the UHN Board of Trustees and Executive Team; Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Executive Team; partners and employees of MNP LLP and its affiliates; and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Tickets cannot be ordered in the name of a minor. Only tickets that have been paid for and/or have been verified as paid for are eligible to be entered for the respective draw(s). The Home Lottery is intended for Ontario residents only. Tickets must be ordered and delivered within the province of Ontario.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to allow us, The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, and its licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program, the right, if you are a prize winner, to use and publicly disclose your name, municipality of residence, image, photograph and likeness as a prize winner in any means required by the terms of our lottery license and/or that we consider appropriate for purposes of administering and promoting the lottery, without notice, review or approval or additional compensation to you.

The liability of the licensee of this lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket.

TICKETS

17,062 prizes will be awarded, valued at $18,260,112.86 (including all taxes and freight). Only 503,000 tickets will be sold. Tickets are $100 each or a 3-Pack* for $250 or a 5-Pack* for $375 or a 10-Pack* for $700. Tickets numbers will be issued in sequential order and will begin at 10000001.

*Guidelines for purchasing a 3-Pack or 5-Pack or a 10-Pack are as follows:

Only ONE method of payment.
Only ONE mailing address.
Only ONE envelope will be mailed containing all ticket numbers.
Up to THREE names may be recorded on a ticket.

*All tickets in a pack must contain the same information.

The official ticket is a receipt of purchase. It is the responsibility of ticket purchasers to ensure that they receive their ticket(s); however, participants do not need their ticket/s in hand in order to be included in the respective draw(s). No refunds will be issued after commencement of the draws. Ticket purchases are not tax deductible.

Official tickets will be delivered to the customer via email and/or letter mail. For all ticket orders where a valid email address is provided, the official ticket receipt will be provided by email within 3-5 business days. Where no email address is provided, official ticket receipts will be mailed. Ticket purchasers may request a physical copy of their ticket(s) at the time of purchase or by calling Customer Service at 1- 800-542-8813. Physical ticket(s) will be mailed via Canada Post to the address provided at the time of the order within 7-10 business days.

DRAW SCHEDULE

The first draw will be for the Loyalty Prizes. Only tickets ordered by Midnight, January 24, will qualify for the Loyalty Prize Draws. The draws (5 prizes) will take place on February 4, 2025, at approx. 8:00am.

The next draw will be for the VIP Prize. Only tickets ordered by Midnight, February 7, will qualify for the VIP Prize Draw. The draw (1 prize) will take place on February 18, 2025, at approx. 8:00am.

The next draw will be for the Pop-Up Prize. Only tickets ordered by Midnight, February 21, will qualify for the Pop-Up Prize Draw. The draw (1 prize) will take place on March 4, 2025, at approx. 8:00am.

The next draw will be for the Bonus Prize. Only tickets ordered by Midnight, March 7, will qualify for the Bonus Prize Draw. The draw (1 prize) will take place on March 18, 2025, at approx. 8:00am.

*If all tickets are sold out by the Early Bird Prize Deadline (Midnight, March 28) then draws for all remaining prizes will be made on April 8, 2025, at approx. 8:00am at the offices of MNP LLP. The first draw would be for the Early Bird Prize, followed by draws for all remaining prizes starting with the lowest valued prize and concluding with the $9 Million Grand Prize.

The Top Valued Prize winners and the Early Bird Prize winner will be announced on CP24 on April 10, 2025, between 7:00am and 6:00pm at the Grand Prize Showhome in Oakville.

**If all tickets are not sold prior to the Early Bird Deadline (Midnight, March 28) then only the Early Bird Prize draw will take place on April 8, 2025, at approx. 8:00am at the offices of MNP LLP and the winner will be announced on CP24 Breakfast on April 10, 2025, between 5:30am and 9:00am. Marketing will continue to the Final Sales Deadline of Midnight, April 11, 2025. 

The remaining prize draws will then be made on April 22, 2025, at approx. 8:00am at the office of MNP LLP starting with the lowest valued prize and concluding with the $9 Million Grand Prize. The Top Valued Prize winners will be announced on CP24 on April 23, 2025, between 7:00am and 6:00pm at the Grand Prize Showhome in Oakville. 

Tickets ordered before the Loyalty Prize deadline will be eligible for all 17,062 draws. Tickets ordered after the Loyalty Prize deadline but before the VIP Prize deadline will be eligible for 17,057 draws. Tickets ordered after the VIP Prize deadline but before the Pop-Up Prize deadline will be eligible for 17,056 draws. Tickets ordered after the Pop-Up Prize deadline but before the Bonus Prize deadline will be eligible for 17,055 draws. Tickets ordered after the Bonus Prize deadline but before the Early Bird Prize deadline will be eligible 17,054 draws. Tickets ordered after the Early Bird Prize deadline will be eligible for the remaining 17,053 draws.

DRAW CONTROL

Ticket Fulfillment and Draw Control by MNP LLP.

Prize draws follow a strict set of procedures, with draw control oversight by the professional services firm of MNP LLP and under licensing approval by the licensing body (AGCO).

All draws will be made using Random Number Generator software (RNG) under the supervision of MNP LLP. Winning ticket numbers are eligible for all subsequent prize draws.

All draws will take place at the offices of MNP LLP, 1900-1 Adelaide St E, Toronto, ON M5C 2V9.

The records of MNP LLP shall be deemed correct and final.

PRIZE WINNER NOTIFICATION

All winners will be notified in writing as to what they have won and how to claim their prizes. A searchable list of winners will be posted online at PrincessMargaretLotto.com on Thursday, April 17, 2025 (if draw is completed on April 8, 2025) or Thursday, May 1, 2025 (if draw is completed on April 22, 2025). PRIZE CLAIM

Prizes will be awarded to the individual(s) named on the official ticket. Prize notification letters are addressed to the primary ticketholder. It is the responsibility of the primary ticketholder to allocate the prize if necessary. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated.

†† Prize values stated are retail value as of date contracts were negotiated with suppliers and are independently verified by prize suppliers, as per AGCO rules.

Custom grand prize homes may include many custom upgrades, unique features and the full retail replacement value of all of these features including appliances and finishes, flooring, landscaping etc. Real estate retail prize values are calculated based on contracted purchase price and includes land purchase price, Value of home construction, materials, labor, permits, all taxes applicable including full HST, cost of site preparation, landscaping, carrying costs, furnishings, decorating.

Due to housing market fluctuations, the market value of the real estate prizes may rise or diminish over time. Winner or charity is not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated and actual market value at the time the prize is awarded.

Winners of real estate prizes will be required to sign a Full & Final Release prior to the home being transferred. If a real estate prize winner is not a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise exempted from Ontario’s Non-Resident Speculation Tax (NRST), the winner will be responsible for payment of the NRST.

In the event a real estate prize winner is a Non-Canadian within the meaning of the Prohibition on the Purchase of Residential Property by Non-Canadians Act (PPRPNCA) and the real estate prize is within a region where a transfer of an interest in property is prohibited per the PPRPNCA, the licensee will be legally prohibited from awarding the real estate prize to the winner. Vacation prizes will be awarded as cheques payable to the primary ticketholder for the value of the trip as described in the lottery brochure at the time of printing. The prize winner may contact the prize supplier to make travel arrangements should they wish to take the trip as described. Prize winners are asked to claim prizes in a timely manner following notification. Any prizes which are not claimed shall be secured for a period of six (6) months from the date of the draw. Unclaimed prizes will be reported, and a charitable allocation will be approved by the licensing body.

50/50 Add-On tickets are 5-pack for $25, 15-pack for $50, 25-pack for $75 and 50-pack for $100. All tickets in a pack must contain the same information.

All 50/50 Add-On tickets must correspond to the primary ticketholder’s name in the Princess Margaret Lottery database. 50/50 Add-On ticket(s) will not be assigned to an alternate name(s).

50/50 Add-On ticket numbers ordered will be issued in sequential order and will be listed on your Spring 2025 Princess Margaret Home Lottery Official Ticket receipt and will begin at 50000001.

If a ticket order for the Spring 2025 Princess Margaret Home Lottery is cancelled, any and all 50/50 Add-On tickets ordered with that ticket will also be cancelled.

Official tickets will be delivered to the customer via email and/or letter mail. **If all tickets for the Spring 2025 Princess Margaret Home Lottery are not sold prior to the Early Bird Deadline (Midnight, March 28, 2025) 50/50 Add-On tickets will still be available until either all Home Lottery tickets are sold or until the Final Ticket Sales deadline of Midnight, April 23, 2025. 

In this scenario, the draw for the 50/50 Add-On prize will be made as the first preliminary draw on April 22, 2025, at approx. 8:00am at the offices of MNP. The 50/50 Add-On prize winner will be announced on the Final announcement date April 23, 2025, on CP24 between 7:00am and 6:00pm. 

The draw information will be well advertised on the official Princess Margaret Home Lottery ticket. This schedule leaves adequate time to process all applications and payment and assure the database of ticket holders is correct.

The Calendar ticket receipt will list one, three or six Calendar ticket numbers.

The two (2) Grand Prize of $200,000 will be awarded on April 23, 2025, and the daily cash prizes will be awarded from April 24 to August 1, 2025.

All prize winners will be notified in writing within two (2) weeks of the day for which their winning ticket is awarded. Winning results for the two (2) Grand Prizes of $200,000 will be posted on April 23, 2025 and the Daily Cash Prizes of $10,000, Friday Cash Prizes of $20,000 will be posted from April 24 to August 1, 2025.

PRIZE CLAIM

Prizes will be awarded to the individual(s) named on the official Calendar ticket. Prize notification letters are addressed to the primary ticketholder. It is the responsibility of the primary ticketholder to allocate the prize if necessary. 

Prizes must be accepted as awarded. Prize winnings are not taxable.

Prize winners are asked to claim prizes in a timely manner following notification. Any prizes which are not claimed shall be secured for a period of six (6) months following the close of the lottery on
April 22, 2025. Unclaimed prizes will be reported, and a charitable allocation will be approved by the licensing body.

PRINCESS MARGARET WANDERLIST LOTTERY RULES

Spring 2025 Princess Margaret Home Lottery offers an exciting Wanderlist™ Lottery option for its supporters.

ELIGIBILITY                                                                                                    

The following individuals and all of their immediate family members residing in the same household are prohibited from ordering a ticket: Board members and employees of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation; members of the UHN Board of Trustees and Executive Team; Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Executive Team; partners and employees of MNP LLP and its affiliates; and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Tickets cannot be ordered in the name of a minor. Only tickets that have been paid for and/or have been verified as paid for are eligible to be entered for the respective draw(s). Tickets must be ordered and delivered in the province of Ontario.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to allow us, The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, and its licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program, the right, if you are a prize winner, to use and publicly disclose your name, municipality of residence, image, photograph and likeness as a prize winner in any means required by the terms of our lottery licence and/or that we consider appropriate for purposes of administering and promoting the lottery, without notice, review or approval or additional compensation to you.

TICKETS

Only 268,017 tickets will be sold. Ticket numbers will be issued in sequential order and will begin at 70000001. Tickets are: one (1) for $25, 3-pack for $50, or a 6-pack* for $75. For each order placed, one ticket receipt will be issued. The ticket receipt will list one, three or six ticket numbers. 

*Guidelines for purchasing are as follows:

  • Only ONE method of payment.
  • Only ONE mailing address.
  • Only ONE envelope will be mailed containing ticket numbers printed on one official Calendar ticket receipt.
  • Up to THREE names may be recorded on a ticket.        
  • All tickets must contain the same information. 

The official ticket is a receipt of purchase. It is the responsibility of ticket purchasers to ensure that they receive their ticket(s), however, purchasers do not need their ticket/s in hand in order to be included in the respective draw(s). No refunds will be issued after commencement of the draws. Ticket purchases are not tax deductible.

Official tickets will be delivered to the customer via email and/or letter mail. For all ticket orders where a valid email address is provided, the official ticket receipt will be provided by email within 3-5 business days. Where no email address is provided, official ticket receipts will be mailed. Ticket purchasers may request a physical copy of their ticket(s) at the time of purchase or by calling Customer Service at 1-800-542-8813. Physical ticket(s) will be mailed to the address provided at the time of the order within 7-10 business days.

All inquiries, if any, regarding the “Chances of Winning” are to be made to the licensee prior to the purchase of ticket(s).

PRIZES

The Wanderlist Lottery Prizes consist of twenty (20) prizes to be awarded with a total value of
$1,500,000. All vacations are supplied by Able Travel and include air, transfers, taxes and accommodations. All flights are from Toronto. Each winner will choose between one (1) of ten (10) exclusive once in a lifetime vacation or take $75,000 Cash. Each vacation package is valued at $70,000 and is awarded with $5,000 cash. The ten (10) choices are as follows:

TICKET DEADLINE & DRAW DATES

*If the Wanderlist is sold out by the Home Lottery Early Bird Prize Deadline (Midnight, March 28, 2025) then all draws will take place on April 8, 2025. 

**If the Wanderlist is sold out by the Final Ticket Sales Deadline (Midnight, April 11, 2025) then draws for the (20) Prizes will take place on Aprill 22, 2025. 

DRAW SCHEDULE

*In the event all tickets are sold by Midnight, March 28, 2025, then all draws will take place on April 8, 2025, at 8:00am at the offices of MNP LLP. MNP LLP will randomly select one (1) winner from among all eligible ticket numbers for each of the twenty (20) Prizes. 

**In the event tickets remain after Midnight, March 28, 2025, then marketing will continue until all tickets are sold to the Final Sales Deadline of Midnight, April 11, 2025, then draws for the 20 Prizes will take place on Aprill 22, 2025 at 8:00am at the offices of MNP LLP. MNP LLP will randomly select one (1) winner from among all eligible ticket numbers for each of the twenty (20) Prizes. 

DRAW CONTROL

Ticket Fulfillment and Draw Control by MNP LLP. The records of MNP LLP shall be deemed correct and final.

All draws will be made using Random Number Generator software (RNG) under the supervision of MNP LLP. Winning ticket numbers are eligible for all subsequent prize draws.

The Wanderlist Lottery draws will take place at approximately 8:00am at the offices of MNP LLP, 1900-1 Adelaide St E, Toronto, ON M5C 2V9.

PRIZE WINNER NOTIFICATION

All winners will be notified in writing as to what they have won and how to claim their prizes. There is no requirement that vacation prize funds be used towards a travel purchase.
