A Mega-Pack+ includes 5-Home Lottery tickets, 25-50/50 tickets, 6-Cash Calendar tickets and 6-Wanderlist tickets for $600.

A Max-Pack+ includes 10-Home Lottery tickets, 50-50/50 tickets, 6-Cash Calendar tickets and 6-Wanderlist tickets for $950.

All tickets in a 3-Pack, 5-Pack, 10-Pack, Mega-Pack, Max-Pack, Mega-Pack + and Max-Pack + must contain the same information. Up to three (3) names can appear on a Home Lottery ticket. Only one (1) form of payment may be used per purchase. Ticket numbers will be issued in sequential order.

Yes, per licensing (AGCO) rules, participation in the 50/50 Add-On is contingent upon a verified purchase of a Home Lottery ticket order. [See separate FAQs for more information about the 50/50 Add-On].

No, there is no requirement that you order a Home Lottery ticket to play the Cash Calendar or Wanderlist Lottery.

Yes, you can place your Cash Calendar or Wanderlist Lottery ticket orders at any time, while supplies are available, or prior to the ticket deadline of April 11, 2025.

The lottery is intended for Ontario residents. Ticket buyers must be in Ontario at the time of order and provide an Ontario mailing address.

The following individuals and all their immediate family members residing in the same household are prohibited from ordering a ticket: Board members and employees of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, members of the UHN Board of Trustees and Executive Team, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Executive Team; partners and employees of MNP LLP and its affiliates and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program.

The chances of winning any prize are approximately 1 in 30. There are 17,062 prizes.

One week is allowed between the ticket sales cutoff and the start of the draws. This time period allows for all forms of payment to be verified and processed. Only tickets that have been paid for and/or have been verified as paid for are eligible to be entered for the respective draw(s). If for any reason a payment is returned, the ticket will be deemed invalid if payment cannot be verified prior to the start of the draws.

Mailed Tickets: Upon receipt and/or authorization of payment for your ticket order, you should receive your ticket(s) via Canada Post in 7-10 business days.

The prize homes are in Oakville, Georgian Bay and Muskoka.

The Oakville Showhome opens for public viewing on weekends and holidays from 1pm – 6pm pm starting Saturday, February 8, 2025. The Showhome will be closed Monday to Friday. The Showhome will close for viewing following a sellout being declared or by the Final Ticket Sales Deadline (April 11). No. All prizes are purchased by the Foundation using the tender process.

No. Prizes won are not taxable. Therefore, a ticket purchase cannot be used as a tax deduction.

Lottery winnings are considered a windfall and not taxable in Canada. If a real estate prize winner is not a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise exempted from Ontario’s Non-Resident Speculation Tax (NRST), the winner will be responsible for payment of the NRST.

Once a home is awarded to the winner, they do not have to live in it. Any prize won can be sold if the winner wishes to do so.

Winning real estate is considered a lottery prize, not a capital gain. Lottery winnings are not taxable in Canada. We recommend that you contact a tax or legal professional with specific questions.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded, except where indicated in the brochure or online that there are cash alternatives. Cash alternatives exist for the following prizes: All vacations and vehicles. Please refer to your lottery brochure or PrincessMargaretLotto.com for details.

Yes. The official Lottery ticket is a Receipt of Purchase, but you do not need it in hand to be entered for the prize draws. To request a reprint of your ticket, please call 1-800-542-8813 or email [email protected].

The first draw will be for the Loyalty Prizes. Only tickets ordered by Midnight, January 24, will qualify for the Loyalty Prize Draws. The draws (5 prizes) will take place on February 4, 2025, at approx. 8:00am. The next draw will be for the VIP Prize. Only tickets ordered by Midnight, February 7, will qualify for the VIP Prize Draw. The draw (1 prize) will take place on February 18, 2025, at approx. 8:00am. The next draw will be for the Pop-Up Prize. Only tickets ordered by Midnight, February 21, will qualify for the Pop-Up Prize Draw. The draw (1 prize) will take place on March 4, 2025, at approx. 8:00am. The next draw will be for the Bonus Prize. Only tickets ordered by Midnight, March 7 will qualify for the Bonus Prize Draw. The draw (1 prize) will take place on March 18, 2025, at approx. 8:00am.

*If all tickets are sold out by the Early Bird Prize Deadline (Midnight, March 28) then draws for all remaining prizes will be made on April 8, 2025, at approx. 8:00am at the offices of MNP LLP. The first draw would be for the Early Bird Prize, followed by draws for all remaining prizes starting with the lowest valued prize and concluding with the $9 Million Grand Prize. The Top Valued Prize winners and the Early Bird Prize winner will be announced on CP24 on April 10, 2025, between 7:00am and 6:00pm at the Grand Prize Showhome in Oakville.

**If all tickets are not sold prior to the Early Bird Deadline (Midnight, March 28) then only the Early Bird Prize draw will take place on April 8, 2025, at approx. 8:00am at the offices of MNP LLP and the winner will be announced on CP24 Breakfast on April 10, 2025, between 5:30am and 9:00am. Marketing will continue to the Final Sales Deadline of Midnight, April 11, 2025. The remaining prize draws will then be made on April 22, 2025, at approx. 8:00am at the office of MNP LLP starting with the lowest valued prize and concluding with the $9 Million Grand Prize. The Top Valued Prize winners will be announced on CP24 on April 23, 2025, between 7:00am and 6:00pm at the Grand Prize Showhome in Oakville.

No, the Home Lottery draws will not be televised live. The top valued prize winners will be announced live on CP24 on the applicable Home Lottery draw date pending sell out of the lottery.

All winners will be notified in writing as to what they have won and how to claim their prizes. A searchable list of winners will be posted online at PrincessMargaretLotto.com on Thursday, April 17, 2025 (if draw is completed on April 8, 2025) or Thursday, May 1, 2025 (if draw is completed on April 22, 2025). We ask that all winners claim their prizes within six (6) weeks if possible. Prizes must be claimed within six (6) months of the applicable draw date.

Arrangements may be made to have a prize shipped to you “freight collect”, or if someone other than the winner will be claiming the prize on the winner’s behalf, the winner must provide written and signed authorization along with the original prize-winning letter.

There will be no restriction on the number of 50/50 Add-On tickets offered for sale. Ticket numbers will be issued in sequential order beginning at 50000001. 50/50 Add-On ticket numbers will be listed on your Home Lottery Official Ticket receipt.

For each 50/50 Add-On order placed in conjunction with your Home Lottery, one official ticket receipt will be issued. The ticket will list all ticket numbers assigned for Home Lottery and the 50/50 Add-On draw.

Per licensing body (AGCO) rules, 50/50 Add-On tickets must be assigned to the same ticketholder as the Home Lottery ticket. To order Home Lottery and 50/50 Add-On as a gift, simply advise us at the time of order who you would like to give the ticket to and provide the address of the giftee. *Giftee must be 18 years of age or older.

50/50 Add-On tickets will be assigned to the same ticketholder as the Home Lottery ticket. Up to three (3) names can appear on a Home Lottery ticket. Only one form of payment may be used per order.

The chances of winning the 50/50 Add-On prize is dependent upon the number of 50/50 Add-On ticket numbers sold.

The Wanderlist Lottery Prizes consist of twenty (20) prizes to be awarded with a total value of $1,500,000. All vacations are supplied by Able Travel and include air, transfers, taxes and accommodations. All flights are from Toronto. Each winner will choose between one (1) of ten (10) exclusive once in a lifetime vacation or take $75,000 Cash. Each vacation package is valued at $70,000 and is awarded with $5,000 cash. For each Wanderlist order placed, one official ticket receipt will be issued. The official ticket receipt will list 1, 3 or 6 ticket numbers.

Yes. Wanderlist tickets can be gifted. To order as a gift, simply advise us at the time of order who you would like to give the ticket to and provide the address of the giftee. *Giftee must be 18 years of age or older.

All tickets in a 3-pack or 6-pack must contain the same information. Up to three (3) names can appear on one (1) ticket. Only one (1) form of payment may be used per purchase.

There are 268,017 ticket numbers available. Ticket numbers will be issued in sequential order and will begin at 70000001.

No. Prizes won are not taxable. Therefore, a ticket purchase cannot be used as a tax deduction.

Lottery winnings are considered a windfall and not taxable in Canada.

Yes. Each Wanderlist ticket number is entered for ALL the draws.

All winners will be notified in writing as to what they have won and how to claim their prize. 

A searchable list of winners will be posted online at PrincessMargaretLotto.com on Thursday, April 17, 2025 (if draw is completed on April 8, 2025) or Thursday, May 1, 2025 (if draw is completed on April 22, 2025). We ask that all winners claim their prizes within six (6) weeks if possible. Prizes must be claimed within six (6) months of the draw date. The prize winner may contact the supplier listed to make travel arrangements (travel to the prize destination must be completed within 14 months of the draw date). 

Wanderlist Lottery is intended for Ontario residents. Ticket buyers must be in Ontario at the time of order and provide an Ontario mailing address.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Tickets cannot be ordered in the name of a minor.

The following individuals and all their immediate family members residing in the same household are prohibited from ordering a ticket: Board members and employees of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, Members of the UHN Board of Trustees and Executive Team, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Executive Team; partners and employees of MNP LLP and its affiliates; and members of other licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program.

The Wanderlist Lottery Final Ticket Sales Deadline is: Midnight, April 11, 2025.

The draws will take place on April 22, 2025.

Ticket fulfillment and draw control services are provided by MNP LLP. Draws will take place at the offices of MNP LLP, 1900-1 Adelaide St. E., Toronto, ON M5C 2V9. Yes. The official ticket is a receipt of purchase, but you do not need it in hand to be entered for the prize draws. All ticket numbers sold will be represented in the draw.

Proceeds also support world-leading initiatives in areas such as early detection, cancer mental health, cancer digital intelligence and clinical trials. Princess Margaret Wanderlist ticket orders may be cancelled prior to the commencement of the draws and will be refunded for the amount that was paid for the ticket. Once draws have begun, no refunds are permitted.

Time is allowed between the ticket sales cutoff and the start of the draws for all forms of payment to be verified and processed.
